We plan to hold “all access” High Holiday services, both in person in the main Sanctuary, in the Orthodox Kehillah, at lay-led Chavurah Minyan services under the tent, and on Zoom. As a health precaution, we require attendees to sign up in advance below. We will not limit attendance this year. See below for the current Covid protocols.
Covid Protocols (as of 9/21/22)
Covid continues to play an evolving role in our life and congregation. The current Beth El protocols were designed to track the Durham Community Transmission Rate, which is currently at Medium. This designation allows us to lessen the masking requirements. However, since this is the first time that we are bringing a large group of people into the building, we want to be as inclusive as possible. In addition, we have received the input of many stakeholders, including those instrumental in leading our services, and have designed a masking policy for the High Holidays that we believe will make the services comfortable to as many as possible.
