Learning to Leyn--the High Holiday Version

Have you ever wondered why the Torah readings on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur sound different from the regular Torah readings throughout the rest of the year? There is an entire cantillation system for reading Torah on the High Holidays, and you can learn it this summer with Student Cantor Molly May.

Sessions will take place from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm on June 15, June 22, June 29, July 6, July 13, and July 20.

Come learn for the first time or come join us for a refresher! Participants should be comfortable with reading Hebrew; no other leyning experience is required.

This series is $36 for non-Beth El members and free for members.
